N.T. Tree Care

All types of trees expertly felled,
topped & pruned.

Twenty years up London’s trees. Free quotations, all rubbish removed, and your garden left swept before we drive away.

What we do

What we do

Big trees.
Small jobs.
Both done properly.

Nathan takes on the forty-foot conifer nobody else will touch, and he will also come and tidy your shrubbery. There is no job on this list too small to ring about.

  • Felling

All types of trees expertly felled. Taken down whole where there is room, or dismantled in sections and roped down where there is not.

  • Topping & pruning

Height reduction, crown thinning and crown lifting. Enough light back into the garden without spoiling the shape of the tree.

  • Hedges & shrubbery

The smaller jobs too. Conifer hedges cut back to a height you can manage, box and laurel squared off, shrubs shaped and tidied.

  • Stumps & roots

All roots destroyed. Stumps ground out or dug out so you can lay a lawn, a patio or a fence over the top without a fight.

  • Overgrown gardens

Gardens that have been left for years, cleared back to the fence line and landscaped. Bramble, ivy, self-seeded sycamore, the lot.

  • Fruit trees

Apple, pear and plum expertly trimmed. Pruned in the right season, at the right cut, so you get fruit again next year.

  • All rubbish removed

Every branch, every log and every barrow of chip goes on the truck. General garden work undertaken while we are there.

Your neighbour’s tree

We can prune it back to your boundary.

You do not have to knock on their door and you do not have to fall out with anybody. In England and Wales you are entitled to cut back overhanging branches as far as the boundary line, and Nathan will do exactly that: no further, no argument, cut clean and taken away.

Ring and describe it, or send a photo on WhatsApp. If the tree is protected or in a conservation area, we will tell you before anything is cut.

YOUR GARDEN NEXT DOOR BOUNDARY

What people say

Five jobs,
five gardens back.

Each one is the job in the picture beside it.

  • The spruce part-way down, the climber roped in against the bare spar.

“The spruce at the end of our garden was forty foot and leaning at the shed. Nathan roped every section down through a gap barely wider than the tree. Nothing touched the fence, nothing touched the greenhouse. It took a day and by five o’clock you would not have known anyone had been there.”

Marianne H. Muswell Hill, N10 Sectional dismantle, 40ft spruce
  • The felled trunk being cross-cut into rings on the ground.

“We lost half an ash in the February storm and it was hanging over the drive. I rang at eight in the morning not really expecting anything. Nathan came the same afternoon, made it safe, and was back two days later to take the rest down and ring it up. He left the logs stacked because I asked, and took every last twig of the brash.”

Dev P. Chingford, E4 Storm-damaged ash, felled and cleared
  • The conifer hedge being cut back with a petrol trimmer, the new face already level.

“Our leylandii had got to twenty-five feet and the back room had gone dark. Two other firms told me it would have to come out altogether. Nathan brought it down to seven foot, squared the face off, and it has come back green. The quote he gave on the doorstep was the price I paid.”

Sarah W. Palmers Green, N13 Conifer hedge reduced, 25ft to 7ft
  • The finished hedge run, cut square and level along the edge of the lawn.

“Sixty metres of boundary hedge that had not been touched in four years. What sold it to us was the finish: it is dead level end to end, the top is square, and they ran a line to get it that way rather than doing it by eye. They swept the lawn afterwards. Booked them again for the autumn.”

Helen & Tom A. Winchmore Hill, N21 Boundary hedge, 60 metres
  • The finished front garden: clipped hedge blocks and a round-headed standard by the gate.

“My father had not been able to manage the front for years and it was bramble to the gate. Nathan cleared the whole thing, found the original box hedge under it, and shaped what was worth keeping into blocks with two standards by the gate. Three loads went away. It looks like somebody has lived here properly again.”

Rob T. Southgate, N14 Front garden cleared and re-shaped

How it works

Four steps,
no surprises.

  1. 01

    You ring or message

Tell us what the tree is doing. A photo on WhatsApp is usually enough for Nathan to know what he is dealing with.

  2. 02

    Free visit, fixed price

Nathan comes and looks at the tree, checks access and tells you the price to do the whole job. Free estimate or advice, and no obligation either way.

  3. 03

    The work

Roped, rigged and cut in sections where access is tight. Everything is lowered under control. Neighbours, fences and greenhouses all stay where they are.

  4. 04

    Clear-up

Brash chipped, logs loaded, beds and paths swept. We would rather stay the extra half hour than leave you a mess.

Your cancellation rights. Because we quote in your home, the law gives you 14 days to cancel. If you ask us to start inside those 14 days and then cancel, we may charge for the work already done. We will put that in writing before anything is booked.
